HALO Electronics Introduces the 6Pack™
Industry's first 6 Port 10/100 Solution

HALO Electronics, Inc. is pleased to announce the industry's first 6 port 10/100BASE-TX transformer module. The 6Pack™ provides 6 ports of IEEE802.3 compliant magnetics in a single compact package. A significant real estate savings is achieved through the use of a proprietary design technique enabling a 50% increase of ports per board. The small size of this part makes it ideal for the highest density repeaters and switches.
The 6Pack™ is compatible with all next generation, "Auto-MDIX", Phy's, including Broadcom, Level One and Marvell . This new family is UL1950, IEC950, and EN60950 recognized. Port pricing is competitive with the existing 4 port package solutions. Samples and prototypes are available now. Production lead-time is 8-10 weeks with first deliveries available in February.
Due to the leading edge design and competitive sensitivity of this new product, binding non-disclosure agreements must be in place to receive data sheets.
