HALO® Electronics Opens New Manufacturing Plant in Vietnam

Santa Clara, California (November 25th, 2025) – HALO Electronics is pleased to announce the opening of our new manufacturing facility in Vietnam. This plant is our first outside of China and represents a significant step forward in supporting our customers’ supply-chain risk management initiatives.

Production is scheduled to begin in December 2025, immediately following the UL audit and recognition, which is expected by December 10th. Initial output will focus on a select group of popular standard part numbers. Additional products will be added over time based on customer demand.

While manufacturing costs in Vietnam are higher than at our two facilities in China-and customer pricing will reflect this difference-the impact is expected to be offset by lower U.S. tariffs on Vietnam-built products compared to those manufactured in China.

To help customers manage pricing and clearly specify their preferred manufacturing location, HALO is introducing a simple part number suFix for Vietnam-built products. Adding a space and the number “2” to any standard HALO part number will designate production in the Vietnam plant.

Examples:

Product performance, datasheet specifications, and regulatory status remain unchanged regardless of manufacturing location. Customers can simply apply the “ 2” suffix to ensure their products are produced at the Vietnam facility.
