Santa Clara, California (August 7th, 2024) – HALO Electronics, Inc, a leading supplier of Ethernet and power Transformers, today announced the release of a new series of low-cost miniature 1-watt and 2-watt SMD DC/DC converters. Initially HALO will offer single output devices with input and output voltages ranging from 3.3V to 12V. Isolation voltages of 1.5KV and 3KV with functional insulation will be available in the 1-watt version. All modules include continuous short circuit protection.
The single output series is designed in an industry standard 5-pin package with dimensions of 0.504” (12.8mm) x 0.410” (10.44mm) x 0.285” (7.25mm) providing a drop-in replacement to common industry standard 5-pin packages. Samples of the single output series are available now with volume production in September 2024.
The product line will be expanded shortly after the initial release to include input and output voltages up to 24VDC. As well the dual output voltage series will be available in the second phase of the product release with samples ready in Q4 2024. The entire series utilizes UL94V-0 materials and meets the requirements of UL62368. The series will be UL recognized to UL62368 shortly after the release of the second phase.
